Moving into summer, the ticks are out! As we and our patients explore the natural environments of California and travel to other states in the U.S., many will be exposed to ticks and the range of diseases that these insects can carry. Join us for an update on the epidemiology, research, diagnosis and management of tickborne illness. We will also review current epidemiology of COVID-19 and other summer infectious diseases.

- Recognize the current epidemiology of tickborne disease in California and nationally
- Communicate to patients updated clinical research on tickborne disease
- Utilize up-to-date tickborne management strategies
- Determine when and where to refer patients for complex tickborne illness
