Join our Virtual Grand Rounds: Gender-Affirming Care on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. PT.

As gender-affirming care takes the spotlight on the national scene, with restrictions being placed on physicians' ability to provide care in some states, what is the landscape in California? Please join us as we discuss gender health equity with leaders from the California Department of Public Health and physicians involved in gender-affirming care.

James Watt, M.D. will provide us with the current status of COVID-19 and other summer epidemiology updates.

As a result of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Summarize the current epidemiology of COVID-19.
  • Recognize when to test for Influenza A as surveillance for H5N1 (Avian flu)
  • Discuss the status of gender-affirming care in California and nationally.
  • Recognize the importance of and be ready to implement sexual orientation and gender preference data collection in practice settings.
