This webinar will provide an overview of two available grant programs: Data Sharing Agreement (DSA) Signatory Program and the Equity and Practice Transformation (EPT) Provider Directed Payment Program. The DSA Signatory Program offers up to $50,000 to help practices meet DSA requirements. The EPT Provider Directed Payment program offers up between $375,000 to $10,000,000 for primary care practices that provide primary care pediatrics, family medicine, internal medicine, primary care OB/GYN services, or behavioral health services to Medi-Cal members. The overview will be followed by an extended Q&A session.

Presenter: Jeff Nguyen, Senior Director of Physician Services with the California Medical Association’s (CMA) Physician Services Organization

Jeff has over 19 years of experience supporting health care organizations to achieve the Quadruple Aim. Jeff has experience building cross-functional coalitions to strategize, plan, and implement value-driving capabilities, programs, and process improvements. As the Sr. Director of Physician Services, Jeff is responsible for driving the business development and project management needs including project proposal responses, contract execution, and the overall management of key project initiatives. He brings a deep knowledge of managed care and understands the challenges of medical practices and community clinics transition to volume + value-based care.

Prior to his work with the CMA PSO, Jeff has held leadership roles in Medicaid and Medicare quality improvement for major payors and medical groups. Jeff holds an MHA from the University of Southern California.
